I noted Dave Cupp’s issues over at CincyMusic, and we’ll discuss arrangements for “make up” work, as well as other matters here.

I will be contacting everyone who has signed up privately as well, but I want to make sure you know we know you’re here, and say “hey! welcome aboard”…

This sounds great, I would love to be part of it. Please let me know where you plan on having the meetings and if their are still openings. Maybe Mike Detmer, Darin and I can have a Vibrating Needle super-session. I’ll ask Ben Walpole in wants to participate as well, and maybe he, Darin andf I can and we can carpool since we’re all so close.

  13. Sean Sullivan on February 7th, 2007

I had hoped to have payment and reservation details complete by today, but we’re still working them out… look in your email and here for an official announcement, hopefully by Sunday.

    Thanks for your patience!

  18. Alex Breyer on February 17th, 2007

Hey, did the details go out? I haven’t seen anything.

  19. Dave Davis on February 18th, 2007

The details went out moments ago… a full week late! My apologies for the false alarm. It took me a minute to get paypal set up the way it needed to be (delay on me and word press, not PayPal!).

If you signed up here and didn’t get a sign-up email, let me know and I’ll resend asap.

Once you sign up, your spot is golden. In the event all the instructors are struck by lightening, or the studio is invaded by locusts, or the program doesn’t happen for ANY other reason, your deposit will be refunded.

  20. Mike Detmer on February 20th, 2007

I didn’t get anything yet Dave.
I’d like a golden spot if possible.
    Thanks.

  21. Dave Davis on February 21st, 2007

hmmm… that’s odd! I just resent! Sorry for the delay.

    Hello,

I am a designer of audio equipment (both pro and consumer) and own my own DAW. For my own enjoyment, I have composed and arranged some of my own music, and multi-track recorded a few times, as well. However, I lack the experience to know how to optimize mic placement/use and how to mix. Your course is exactly what I need! Please sign me up if there is room and let me know how to send payment.

If I missed it, please advise when the next session will be.

    Thanks,
    Brian Dotson

  23. Dave Davis on February 26th, 2007

    Brian,

I will forward a reservation to you, but we are very close to filling up, so it will be first come-first served…

there are a couple people above who asked for reservations earlier, but have yet to respond to the deposit, so if you get there first, the seat’s yours.

  27. Mark Szabo on March 19th, 2007

So what’s the deal with the workshop? I’m assuming it starts this Thursday…perhaps an email with details could go out to confirmed attendees?

  28. Dave Davis on March 19th, 2007

    Hi Mark,

actually, you should have received 2 emails with this information already, as you’re a confirmed attendee. The latest going out this morning, around the time you posted this!

If you’re still not getting it let me know here, and include a different email address (I might be getting caught in your spam filter?).

    Thanks!

    Hey Dana,

I sent an email with all this but the short version: we’re actually OVER full (based on goals) and into the 3rd week of the program already. We will surely do this again once this round is complete, so hang tight and I’ll make sure you’re on the list if we missed you!

I see I waited too long to start perusing the cincymusic boards and missed this movement by a couple of months. If you’d be interested in doing another session, consider me in right now.
