Spring 2007: Basic Music Recording
We are pleased to announce a series of seminars and workshops aimed at enhancing specific skills of the music professional. While topic, duration and venue will vary, all programs will share a common approach:
Every program will be preceded by a survey to establish demand, topics, costs and times.
We will always start at the beginning, the pace will be very fast, and require considerable work and effort outside class meetings to keep up.
Programs will be interactive: recognized professionals will present topics in real-world facilities, providing an opportunity for on hands on work, followed by evaluation and discussion of outcomes.
All programs will use web-based tools for communications, as well as dissemination of progress and findings internally and externally.
The conclusions and key points of every program will be stored indefinitely as a record and reference, and made available to the public (attributions intact, of course!), under terms of Creative Commons.
